April 2, 2009: With a vote of 553:44:33, the plenary session of the European Parliament adopts a Resolution on European Conscience and Totalitarianism. The Resolution represents the first official acknowledgement of communist crimes by the European Parliament. March 25, 2009: The plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg discusses European Conscience and Totalitarianism. The transcript of the debate, together with a complete videorecording in all official languages of the EU can be found here.  

18 mars 2009: Europaparlamentet kommer att hålla en offentlig utfrågning med namnet "Det europeiska samvetet och den totalitära kommunismens brott: Tjugo år efter".

18 september 2008: Bulgariens parlament stödjer Pragdeklarationen.
