April 2, 2009: With a vote of 553:44:33, the plenary session of the European Parliament adopts a Resolution on European Conscience and Totalitarianism. The Resolution represents the first official acknowledgement of communist crimes by the European Parliament. The text of the Resolution in Swedish can be found here.
